About the Naturist UK Fact File

The Naturist UK Fact File (known as "NUFF" for short ) grew out of the 'Frequently Asked Questions' file for the uk.rec.naturist Usenet newsgroup - originally created and maintained by Richard Linsley-Hood. The current Collators are grateful to Richard for his generous permission to incorporate the FAQ within NUFF.

NUFF is compiled by volunteers from various public-domain sources and the first-hand experience of contributors. Our intention is to provide a freely available source of information about naturism in Great Britain and Europe, so that more people can discover and enjoy the innocent pleasure, relaxation and health benefits of social nudity and  recreation without clothes.

NUFF is independent of other naturist organisations and businesses, all of which are included in our listings unconditionally and without prejudice. It is purely an information source and as such we express neither approval nor disapproval of naturist facilities. Please make your own enquiries to determine whether or not a particular venue fits within your personal definition of "naturism".

However,  inappropriate behaviour - voyuerism, exhibitionism, ("dogging") and other sex acts - threatens the continued existence of a number of naturist venues and for this reason NUFF reserves the right not to publish any material which might be seen as encouraging or condoning such activity. Neither will NUFF include the details of any venue where, in our judgement, the term 'naturism' being used as a euphemism for 'swinging' or similar sexual activities.

We welcome your contributions to this FactFile. If you have suggestions, corrections, information about naturist venues or trip reports that you would like to share with other naturists please send them by via our Email form.
